Host Me In California is an sales and landing page created by Marek – a 16 year old student from Slovakia. We think Marek has done a brilliiant job of creating a compelling one-page ‘experience’ for visitors with all the standard elements of a direct response advertisement you might see in a magazine, or potentially for a SaaS product.
Judging by the 101 comments and 310 points the people on Hacker News agree as well:

Perhaps you haven’t heard of a “landing page” or “sales page” before. Chances are, however, that you’ve seen many of them. It’s even possible that you have bought something on a sales page.
Anyway, here is what Marek’s page looks like if you haven’t checked it out already:

He maps out how it works (impressive), and also provides a clear call-to-action to email him. Check out www.hostmeinca.com to see the page for yourself.
Marek clearly has a strong grasp of not only direct response advertising and sales page copywriting and persuasion techniques, he’s also a very strong designer.
Well done Marek, and we hope you achieve your dream of studying in California!
